Most people I see have already tried a few things for ongoing pain, recurring flare-ups or problems that keep coming back.
We look at how your body is working, test a few things and retest what changes.
Then we keep what actually helps.
No guessing. No forcing,
Just finding what works for you.
We start with what hurts.
If your shoulder hurts, we will look at your shoulder.
If your back feels tight, we'll start there.
But if it's not settling, we don't just keep doing the same thing hoping it works.
We will look a little wider, make a few changes and see what helps things feel easier.
Sometimes it's exactly where you think. Sometimes it isn't.
The aim is to get things moving and feeling better - not just keep chasing the same spot.
What happens in a session?
Your first session is slightly longer and focused on understanding what's going on.
We'll chat about what you're experiencing and what you want to get back to whether that is sport or just everyday life.
From there, we try a few things and see what changes - this might include movement, position or hands on work.
You won't be pushed through pain or forced into anything that doesn't feel right.
The aim is simple: find something that helps and build from there.
ONGOING PAIN OR SOMETHING THAT'S NOT GOING AWAY?
Many people come in with pain that's been around for a while - sometimes months or even years.
You might have tried different treatments, had scans or been told everything looks "fine"... but it still doesn't feel right.
In these situations, we take things at your pace.
We focus on calming things down, finding what feels easier and building from there.
This isn't about fixing everything in one go-it's about helping you move forward in a way that feels possible..

Hi. I’m Helen.
I help people move better and feel more comfortable in their body.
I was part of the GB ladies powerlifting team, so I understand what it is like to train hard-and what it's like when things hurt.
My approach isn't about pushing through pain or following a set routine. It's about finding what actually helps and building from there.
Whether it's something recent or something that's been there a while, we'll take it at your pace.
I work from a private home treatment room in Sittingbourne with easy parking available.
